"Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness."
~ Frank Tyger (whoever he is...)
Darn, people! Either I'm in the middle of an early midlife crisis or I'm in desperate need of a holiday... ;) I've been feeling the urge to break free lately, but with a mortgage, a day-job and tons of responsibilities and obligations, breaking free is sometimes easier said than done...
In my case freedom is mostly about creating a certain state of mind. It's the challenge of letting go of my worries and thoughts, and enjoying the little things. It doesn't come natuarally for me, so I have to work for it. And working for it is often very easy to forget, or very hard to take time for.
But sometimes I succeed. Like on the day I took these pictures. A day filled with sunshine, riding my bike, enjoying the beautiful world around me and eating ice cream.
It was a Good Day indeed :)
