First Day Of Spring

Hello Blogland! Has it really been almost three weeks since my last post? THREE WEEKS??? I really intented to blog a lot this month, but then, well... I didn't ;) Sometimes I just get so caught up in daily life I forget to blog all together, and once you haven't blogged in a while it can be hard to start up again for some reason.

These past three weeks I was busy with work and daily life, all while battling a bad case of sinusitis... (Which is STILL haunting me, even after a week of antibiotics!) On the bright side: Spring arrived last week (YAY!), we went to a festival over the weekend with friends, I did some swimming, ate some pie and even spend time in our garden, trying to arrange some order to the choas (and of course failing miserably ;)

Anyway... It's good to be back! :)

An Afternoon Of Comfort Food

We are slowly easing back into normal life around here. Yesterday me and a friend went to the Bakkerswinkel in Utrecht, a lovely place where they've got the most delicious comfort food EVER. We had the hardest time deciding what to get... :) Eventually I decided to go all out with french toast made from brioche (filled with fruit & chocolate and served with cinnamon sugar), cappuccino, a fruit shake AND a scone. 

Hell yes.

EAT ALL THE FOOD!!!!!! :D

Home Sweet Home

I love our home... but I'll be happy when we'll get to leave it as often as possible in the upcoming months ;) I can't wait for Spring!! :)

Holiday Stamp Set by Zoé de Las Cases

When I saw this amazing holiday stamp set from Zoé de Las Cases on discount at the wonderful webshop Een Nieuw Avontuur a while ago, I knew I would regret it if I let it pass by. 

I was just in time to get one of these boxes filled with 22 wooden stamps that just scream summer. I love them so much!! Now I can't wait to get my hands on the two other sets - vintage & nature! :)

An Early Start

Every Spring I love photographing crocuses, but I don't recall ever photographing them in January... I hope for their sake (and my own ;) the gentle winter we've been experiencing so far will persevere, and these little guys won't freeze to death before March...!
